The Gill WindObserver 65 is a precision, solid-state ultrasonic anemometer providing wind speed and direction data a digital output and features an IP66 rated stainless steel housing, which is particularly suitable for use in salt-water environments.
The WindObserver 70 will monitor wind speeds up to 70m/s (157mph), with an optional high-power anti-icing heating system. WindObserver70 is available with a range of mounting and connection options and has been accepted for service by the FAA and CAA for reporting of surface wind in airport applications.
The WindObserver 75 is capable of monitoring high wind speeds up to 75m/s (168mph) with an optional on-board anti-icing heating system to allow use in Arctic or Antarctic conditions. WindObserver75 is available with a range of different mounting and connection options for simple installation.
The WindObserver 90 is capable of monitoring extreme high wind speeds up to 90m/s (201mph). WindObserver 90 has an optional heating system and is available with a range of different mounting and connection options for simple installation.
WindObserver IS /Intrinsically Safe/
The WindObserver IS intrinsically safe WindObserver is IECEx and ATEX approved for use in hazardous areas. This industrial anemometer will monitor wind speeds of 0-75m/s and is particularly suited to offshore oil platform applications.
